"A class that doesn't surprise, doesn't leave a mark."
A speaker & lecturer at leading institutions — ESCE Paris, ISCOM Lyon, IDRAC Lyon, INSEEC Chambéry, ESG Lyon — — I teach international business and geopolitics by combining academic rigour, real-world case studies, and field-level insight.. With a deep conviction: a class that doesn't surprise, doesn't leave a mark. And who knows? Perhaps an anecdote about a negotiation in Shanghai or a logistics crisis off the coast of Singapore will spark a vocation…
My strengths? 25 years of B2B export, 4 years of expatriation in China, and over 400 teaching hours delivered in the 2025-2026 academic year: my classes are immersive experiences where theory and field practice meet — and sometimes clash. Taught in both French and English, for Bachelor, Master and "Grande École" programs, drawing on sectors as varied as aeronautics, energy, medical, electronics, fine watchmaking and automotive..
If you think geopolitics is only played out with tanks, look at a container. Since 2025, we have witnessed the disruptive moves of players once thought predictable — they reminded us with near-brutal clarity: a tariff is never just a figure for naïve accountants; in geopolitics, it is a weapon, a signal, a staging of power, a leverage. That is where I teach: at the precise point where the map enters the contract, where sovereignty intrudes into the margin, where Panama, China, Greenland or NATO cease to be separate subjects. International trade does not dress power up — it carries it, sometimes in containers, sometimes in coffins.
Teaching Highlights
- Export Lecture: "Building Trust" — a reverse-engineering of 25 years of career, to understand and decode the key success factors that were decisive in my export journey. Here's a hint: DNA.
- Big Five Psychometric Test — used to build optimised teams for group work, with profiling adapted to the subjects taught and intercultural dynamics.
- Real Cases, Anecdotes and Best Practices drawn from diverse industrial sectors — aeronautics, energy, medical, electronics — and contrasting regions: Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, Eastern Europe.
- Intercultural and Multidisciplinary Role-Plays — highlights include a dystopian scenario on the partition of Belgium, in which international relations students each had to represent an involved country within a simulated diplomatic framework, while I played the European Union. Nobody fell asleep.
- Smart Tools Workshops — writing effective AI prompts and pitch-style presentations: immediately actionable skills, in both academic and professional settings. Meta-prompts. Agentic AI. The result? Students who leave with tools, reflexes, and sometimes an irresistible urge to book a flight to Tokyo or Melbourne.
